Light & Shadow Photos

Shadow - The shadow coming from his body back towards the camera and the shadow which blocks the right side of his body

Light - Combination of the light from the sky along with the lights to light up the building itself makes for an interesting contrast.

Shadow - The majority of the picture is consumed by light but I really like the shadow flowing in this photo.  My eye gets drawn to it immediately so that's why it is a shadow.

Light - The light from the gloomy sky  makes this a striking photo.  I liked how part of the sky is bright in contrast to everything else.  

Shadow - A shadow which is of the crucifix.  

Shadow - I think the shadow around him helps to give dimension and definition to the figure in the photo.  

Light - The light from the sun helps to illuminate the flowers here to give the vibrant pink color.

Shadow - The shadow of the trees and bushes at Mary's Garden help to darken this photo.  I also love the contrast with the pink/purple rose.

Light - The light inside of this purple star illuminated the center of it.  I thought it looked cool with the brightness compared to the darkness of the Great Room.

Light - The color is darker but the light from the sun which brightens her hair is certainly light.

Shadow - The shadow coming from the phone and iPod as a result of the desk lamp.

This is Beben doing whatever he wanted.  The light is cool but not quite what I wanted.

Beben doing somewhat of the same pose but I really like the lighting more here than the other picture.  I like the long shadow in the background along with the washed out light in background as opposed to the previous photo.
